Eleanor {4 months}

My little baby doll,

I'm sure I'll say this every month… but this month has been my favorite! Your personality is blooming so much everyday. I swear every time I come to get you out of your crib, you are a completely different girl! Constantly growing, smiling, reaching, standing, jumping, giggling, looking…everything. You don't stop moving!

13lbs.15oz.
3-6 clothing
Size 2 diapers
Nicknames: Ellie-nor, Sissy, Honey pot, my baby, babes, peanut, baby doll, Eleanor Rosie Poe

Things you Love:
(lots of similarities from 3 months..)
- Still smiling constantly!
- Drinking TONS of Mama's milk, always around 30oz a day!
- STILL waking up promptly at 5:30am, and sometimes cuddling with Mama until 7:00.
- always having something in your mouth
- Rolling from your belly to back
- Yelling/cooing/talking loudly
- pulling Mama's hair
- pretending like you are cuddling then randomly biting Mama's neck
- swinging at Grandma Deb's house
- grabbing your feet
- drooling, drooling, drooling!
- when Mama kisses your neck to make you laugh
- the spinning thing on your jumper.. You can spin that thing for hours!

Things you Dislike:
- You are learning to be a big girl in the car, but it is still a daily struggle for ya.
- Still don't like being held super close by most people. You like to look out and move!
- Waking up with a huge knot in your hair from all of your crazy sleeping and Mama trying to get it out :)

Events:

- Still EBF through Mama's exclusive pumping! I'm still at 6ppd, about 45ozpd, with almost 800oz frozen. Got mastitis again, but still determined to give you BM for a year!

- First time at Ron's with your cousin, Lou! Can't wait to recreate this picture when you two are older.  You've really started to notice Lucas this month, giving him lots of smiles and reaching for him when you can!

- You are trying hard to get from your back to your belly but you haven't done it yet!

- You've been loving your feet lately! You reach for our faces, my hair, everything these days!

- You also love sitting up but definitely need a lot of support.

- You are still swaddled at night, but we may begin to transition you soon. I truly cannot imagine you falling asleep without it but I'm praying you transition easily!

- I got you this chair from a garage sale and you love it! Best $2 ever spent. I'm pretty sure it has to be recalled though.. this thing can't be safe. (it rocks!)

- Dada and I will fight over who gets to unwrap you from your swaddle in the morning. You are SO cute when you stretch!

- You've been recognizing your name and learning to locate sound really well this month!

- Swinging at Grandma's is the newest and easiest way to get you to pass out :)

- 4th of July fun!

- Dada bought you a new swimming pool that you didn't love because the water wasn't' warm enough :( We can't wait to try again though!

- Mama and Dada celebrated their 3 year anniversary and you enjoyed a night with Auntie Sissy! You are always such a good baby when we leave you, thank God!

- Still enjoying our crazy summer adventures with Auntie and Lou each week!

- Almost there, sweet girl!

- I've been wearing you a lot lately and we both enjoy it so much.  We've walked all the way to Target and Starbucks in it and we get SO. SWEATY. but it makes my Mama heart fill to the brim!

- We celebrated Fathers Day!

Can't wait to see what this next month will bring! It is our last month together before  I head back to work full time so  I'm determined to make it magical!

Eleanor {3 months}

My babydoll,

How is possible you are 3 months old? It feels like yesterday I was sitting in your nursery with you, crying my eyes out, begging God for time to inch by so I could soak in every ounce of your squishy newborn body. You continue to amaze me everyday and I continue to fall deeper in love with you.  I had to start working again this month and it's been so difficult at times. You grow so much everyday that I feel like I'm missing out on so much. However, it's only for 3 weeks and you've gotten quality time with your Dada and Grandma. I felt so good knowing they were with you.

10lbs. 14oz. + ?? Haven't gone to the doctor yet.
0-3 clothing, Mama is trying to push off the transition to 3-6 as long as possible
Size 1 diaper, soon Size 2
Nicknames: Sissy, Honey pot, my baby, babes, peanut, baby doll, Eleanor Rosie Poe

Things you Love:
- Still smiling constantly
- Drinking lots of Mama's milk
- waking up promptly at 5:30pm
- eating your hands or Mama/Dada's hands
- Standing in your jumper
- Yelling/cooing/talking loudly
- watching your cousin Lou play
- Reaching for toys, trying to get them in your mouth
- yelling at the fan with Dada
- pulling Mama's hair
- SIT UPS! All day long you are trying to sit up from the laying position
- Standing like a big girl

Things you Dislike:
- Paci, you haven't taken it for a few weeks now
- Still don't like being held super close by most people. You like to look out and move!
- the car :( unless Mama sits in the back with you.

Events:

- Still EBF through Mama's exclusive pumping! I'm at 6ppd, about 45ozpd, trying so hard to keep up with you!

- You spent one week with your Dada and two weeks with your Grandma while Mama worked. You did so well and even got some quality time with your Auntie and Lou.

- You will roll to your back from belly, but you don't love it. You've attempted back to belly on your own but you aren't quite there yet.

- Still sleeping 7:30/8pm - 5:30am on the dot.

- You attended your first wedding! You were so well behaved and looked beautiful.

- We went to Chicago with Auntie and Lou, and had so much fun!

- You don't really use your swing too much anymore, but thats mostly because I've wanted to hold you ever second I can when I got home from work.  Hopefully you'll use it more this summer so Mama can get a few things done around the house :)

- You finally 'play' with toys! You like to grab them, swat at them, and throw them!

- We went to the Lakehouse as a family and you did very well! Vacationing with babies is very different but we wouldn't have it any other way!

Love you more than life baby doll!
